The piece
Seven anointing oils cold-infused over six weeks in organic jojoba — chosen because it does not go rancid the way olive and almond do. Each 10 ml bottle names its carrier, its botanicals, its infusion date and its use-by.
Why we date every bottle
An infused oil is a perishable thing. Olive oil infusions turn within a year and the botanical matter in them can spoil sooner. Nearly every anointing oil sold in this trade carries no date at all, which means you cannot know whether you are holding something made last month or three years ago. Ours carry both dates. Use them, and replace them when they are done.
