Read the contraindication sheet
Rue, wormwood and St John’s wort are all genuinely potent — rue is a strong abortifacient and a photosensitiser, wormwood is neurotoxic in quantity, and St John’s wort interferes with a long list of prescriptions including hormonal contraception and antidepressants. The enclosed sheet says all of this plainly. These are working herbs, not potpourri.
