Practice
Burning a dressed candle
Light it and let it burn in one sitting if you can, or in the same window each day if you cannot. Do not snuff a working candle with your breath if that matters to you — use a snuffer. And say the intention out loud when you light it. A candle dressed by someone else is a tool; you still have to do the working.
