The piece
Raised by hand from a single pewter disc over four hours of hammer work, then silvered inside so the bowl reads as a still pool. The stem carries the twenty-eight mansions of the moon, cut with a graver rather than stamped.

Care
Rinse and dry after use — never leave wine or salt water standing overnight. The silvering will patina at the waterline within a year; most owners come to prefer it. Polish only if you want it bright.
